Delivery Policy

Our standard delivery hours are from 8 AM to 6 PM, Monday through Friday. Requests for delivery outside these hours may incur additional fees.

An adult must be present to receive and sign for the delivery of your new furniture.

All deliveries are insured from the moment they leave our warehouse until they arrive at your home.

Please inspect all items for damage upon delivery and note any issues on the delivery receipt or bill of lading. The delivery insurance covers only those issues documented at the time of delivery. Neither Bergen Furniture & Design nor the shipping carrier will be liable for problems not recorded accordingly.

Regardless of any damage, defect, missing, or incorrect items, you must accept and sign for all items on the order unless directed otherwise by Bergen Furniture & Design. We will address any issues by replacing, refunding, or repairing the items as deemed appropriate.

It is essential to take photos of any damage as proof.

Ensure your floors and walls are protected before delivery, as neither Bergen Furniture & Design nor the carrier will be responsible for any damage to your personal property.

Missed delivery appointments may result in a delivery attempt fee estimated at $0.75 per pound.

If you need to reschedule your delivery, please notify us at least two days before the scheduled delivery date to avoid a rescheduling fee.

On the day of delivery, please ensure the delivery area is clear. Our delivery team cannot remove old furniture.

A storage fee of $50 per piece per month will apply to items held in our warehouse for more than 30 days. Note that certain items, such as beds or dining tables, may consist of multiple pieces.

Please inform our customer service department of any damages within 24 hours of delivery.
