1. Introduction

Welcome to Bergen Furniture & Design! Your satisfaction is our top priority. We understand that purchasing a mattress online can be challenging, so we have designed our Mattress Policy to make the process as smooth and worry-free as possible. Please read through the following guidelines to understand our policies on shipping, returns, exchanges, and warranties.

 

2. Shipping and Delivery

• Processing Time: Orders are typically processed within 1-2 business days.
• Shipping Time: Standard shipping usually takes 5-7 business days. Expedited shipping options are available at an additional cost.
• Shipping Fee: Shipping is free for orders over $500. For orders under $500, a flat rate shipping fee of $50 applies.
• Delivery: We offer doorstep delivery. Assembly and setup services are available upon request for an additional fee.

 

3. Trial and Exchanges

• Trial Period: Enjoy a 100-night trial period on selected mattress to ensure your mattress is perfect for you.
• Eligibility: To be eligible for a return, the mattress must be clean, undamaged, and free from stains. A protective mattress cover is recommended during the trial period.
• Exchange Process: If you decide the mattress isn’t right for you and you wish to exchange your mattress for a different model, please contact our customer service team within the trial period at info@bergenfurniturenj.com or call us at 201-358-1556. We will arrange for a pickup, and you can select another mattress of the same or more value. (This is applicable for selected mattresses only). Exchanges are subject to availability and may incur additional costs.

 

4. Warranty

• Coverage: All mattresses come with a 10-year limited warranty covering manufacturing defects and material flaws.
• Exclusions: The warranty does not cover normal wear and tear, damage caused by misuse, or issues arising from an improper foundation.
• Claim Process: To file a warranty claim, please email info@bergenfurniturenj.com with your order number, a detailed description of the issue, and photos if applicable. Our team will guide you through the process.

 

5. Care and Maintenance

• Support: Use a supportive foundation to ensure the longevity of your mattress.
• Cleaning: Spot clean with mild detergent and water. Avoid using harsh chemicals or soaking the mattress.
• Rotation: Rotate your mattress every 3-6 months to promote even wear.
