Return Policy
While we make every effort to satisfy all our customers, we are pleased to offer a 15-Day Return Policy that starts on the day you receive your order. If you are dissatisfied with your purchase for any reason, you can return it for a refund within 15 days of delivery in the original condition and original packaging.
Customer must e-mail Bergen Furniture a request for Return Authorization Number within five (5) calendar days from receiving delivery.
Returned items must be received by Bergen Furniture within fifteen (15) days from the date the return authorization is issued.
For all Eligible Returns:
- Items must be returned with all their original condition, original packaging, and original unopened accessories.
- Items must not be assembled or modified in any way.
- Items must be in new and unused condition and free from damage, pet hairs, soil, or stains.
- Items must include a return authorization number provided by Bergen Furniture & Design.
- Bergen Furniture will calculate and provide to you in email, applicable restocking fees and actual delivery charges. Return Authorization number will not be issued until Bergen Furniture receives written acceptance from customer via email.
- Applicable refunds will not be issued until items(s) are inspected by Bergen Furniture manufacturer or an authorized team
Deductions
All returns and exchanges are subject to a return shipping fees and 15% or more restocking fee.
Shipping cost estimated at $2.35 per lbs. will be deducted off your refund if:
- Customer refuse delivery because the purchased item(s) cannot fit into home or room(s) by the customer or delivery team.
- You choose to have Bergen Furniture pickup up your return from your residence or delivered address.
- You choose to cancel your order and it is past the cancellation timeframe.
- You refuse an entire shipment because of only a part of an item is damaged.
- You refuse delivery for any reason without consent from Bergen Furniture.
- Your delivery address provided was invalid and order could not be delivered.
Full Refunds May Not Be issued if:
- The item(s) is not returned in its original packaging or equivalent.
- The Item(s) does not have a Return Authorization Number on outside of the package.
- The item(s) is determined by Bergen Furniture team or the manufacturer to have been used, damaged by customer.
Items that Cannot be Returned and no refunded will be provided if:
- Items marked is Special/custom order, Final/clearance Sale.
Cancellation Policy
We process all orders the moment they come in to make sure you receive your order as quick as possible, for this reason orders may only be canceled within 24 hours of placement without incurring any fees.
- If you cancelled the order after 24 hours, you may be subject to a 15% restocking fee plus an estimated return fee of $2.32 per lbs.
- If you cancel, exchange, or return only part of the order that included a package discount, you will forfeit your package discount and be created less the amount of the discount.
- We make payment to the manufacturer to ensure that the backordered products are reserved for you when they are back in stock and not sold to anyone else. In this case your order will be considered a Special order and therefore cannot be cancelled.
To cancel an order please e-mail to info@bergenfurniturenj.com with your order number, Full Name, and delivery address.
Your order status will change to cancelled and confirmation email will be sent to you.
If your order status in customer portal does not say cancelled, that means your order is not cancelled.
Image and specification Disclaimer
We work closely with our vendors and strive to be 100% certain of all product colors, dimensions, and measurements. however, there are sometimes small discrepancies. Bergen Furniture will not responsible if any of these are slightly different from what was advertised. In terms of color, images of certain items may look different than the actual item. This can occur for a variety of reasons including but not limited to the lighting during a photo shoot or your monitor's display. We have made every effort to display our products as accurately and will continue to do so. Any questions related to color, dimensions or specifications must be discussed prior to placing your order. If not fully addressed, Bergen Furniture will not be held responsible. Always measure the space you plan on placing your new furniture to make sure it will fit prior to placing an order.

- Schedule Your Delivery:Upon receipt of your order, the Local White Glove Delivery Carrier will reach out to you to coordinate a delivery appointment tailored to your schedule.
- Efficient Delivery:On the designated delivery day, our experienced team will arrive punctually to transport and install your new furniture, ensuring a seamless and satisfactory delivery experience.

At Bergen Furniture & Design, we offer a 30-day return policy starting from the day you receive your order. If you're not satisfied with your purchase for any reason, you can return it for a refund within 30 days of delivery, as long as it is in its original condition and packaging.
Refund Requirements
- Items must be new and unused.
- Items must include all original packaging and accessories.
- Items must not be assembled or altered in any way.
- Items must have a return authorization number provided by Bergen Furniture & Design.
Fees and Deductions
All returns and exchanges are subject to a 15% restocking fee plus applicable return shipping fees outlined below.
A return shipping fee estimated at $0.99 per pound will be deducted from your refund if:
- You arrange for Bergen Furniture & Design to pick up your return from your home or delivery address.
- You refuse delivery without prior approval from Bergen Furniture & Design.
- You reject an entire shipment because a part of the item is damaged.
- The delivery address you provided was incorrect, and the order couldn't be delivered.
- You cancel your order after the cancellation period has passed.
- The item doesn't fit through your door or in your home.
If you return only part of an order that included a package discount, the package discount will be void, and you will receive a reduced credit reflecting the original discount.
If any parts or accessories are missing from the original packaging, a fee will be deducted from your refund.
- Additional charges may apply for remote delivery locations.
Non-Returnable Items
- Items marked "Final Sale" or "Special Order."
- Items that have been assembled (unless a written exception is provided by Bergen Furniture & Design).
